Senior software engineer with 12 years of experience across eCommerce, SaaS, Web3 and enterprise platforms.

A large part of my work has involved complex migrations and integrations where the problem sits between several systems. I stay hands-on and am comfortable moving between frontend, backend and infrastructure.

I have founded a software consultancy, co-led the team behind a DeFi product that was at one point the world's #2 DEX by trading volume, and I am currently CTO of a SaaS company.

Dec 2025 – Present

Chief Technology Officer, RelocationOnline

Returned to RelocationOnline as CTO to rebuild engineering processes, modernise the stack and improve productivity.

  • Lead a four-person engineering team and work closely with a three-person customer service team, with one member embedded in engineering for QA and bug triage.
  • Introduced clearer ownership, planning and delivery practices, improving the deployment pipeline so every release goes through QA and code review, while remaining hands-on with architecture and implementation.
  • Own how the company adopts agentic coding workflows and builds AI features, with the required compliance and security controls.
  • Authored and implemented policies for the company's successful SOC 2 Type II attestation.

Lead Software Engineer (Contractor), VML / WPP – PUMA Europe

Joined VML on a six-month contract for PUMA Europe's eCommerce migration.

  • Migrated PUMA Europe's eCommerce platform for every EU country to Next.js, Contentful and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, cutting over country by country with zero downtime.
  • Served on the five-person core migration team, within a wider 30-person VML programme at PUMA.
  • One of the few engineers selected to be on-site at PUMA HQ for the live cutover, helping oversee the switchover and resolve production issues as markets went live.

Frontend Developer → Full Stack Engineer → Project Co-Lead, Delphi Digital

Delphi Research – Members Portal

Joined as a frontend developer on the Members Portal, the subscription platform for Delphi's paid crypto research.

  • Worked on the migration from WordPress/PHP to Nuxt/Vue, including REST APIs and Stripe.

Delphi Labs – Astroport

Moved internally to Labs and spent almost three years on Astroport, which ranked as the world's #2 DEX by trading volume at its 2022 peak.

  • ~$2B in peak TVL and ~$200M in sustained daily trading volume, deployed across five Cosmos chains (Terra, Neutron, Injective, Sei and Osmosis).
  • Helped keep the platform running through $2B of volume in a single day during the Terra collapse, scaling infrastructure and running incident response as Astroport remained one of the only venues where users could still exit their positions.
  • Started on the frontend, then expanded into Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, AWS Lambda/ECS, MongoDB and the API layer, plus CosmWasm/Rust smart contracts and Cosmos SDK/Go.
  • Became co-lead of the 12-person team while remaining hands-on across the stack.

Founded and ran a software consultancy end to end, from sales to delivery.

  • Grew the company to four employees and worked with more than 10 clients.

Software engineer on a Ruby on Rails SaaS platform for relocation service providers.

  • Worked directly on product, UI/UX and technical feasibility.
  • Helped migrate server-rendered Rails views to a React SPA and converted Rails endpoints to REST APIs.
  • Managed CI/CD and infrastructure across Heroku and AWS.

Worked at a computer vision startup building native mobile apps.

Co-owned a small UK software company building eCommerce platforms, integrations and custom applications.

  • Built and maintained Shopify stores for UniKitOut, Cozeline and Gailarde, including Exact Online integrations for accounting, stock and warehouse workflows.
  • One of these stores powered around £5 million in annual revenue.
  • Built Kaizen Lancaster Academy, a martial arts management and gamified learning platform with Django and Vue.
